I don't know if anything like this has been done before. I'm sure others probably did something similar to help them learn the ins and outs of various different skills. I went through each of the skills of the four vanilla classes(Berserker, Ember Mage, Engineer, Outlander) and wrote down each of the properties that I could observe. On some skills I then went into the GUTS editor to check to see if I was correct. Most of the time I was, other times I literally could NOT figure out how the skill was doing what it claimed. Which is actually ok, since it wasn't the point of making the list.

One thing I noticed was how some skills did the same thing, but in different ways. For instance, some skills have a 100% chance to break shields, while other skills have a bool-type affix that just breaks shields outright. Isn't 100% the same as always? Or maybe there are enemies out there who resist having their shields broken?

I'm at the level of understanding GUTS where I'm fairly confident about taking existing affixes and such and cloning them piece by piece to make a new skill. So what I was attempting to do with the list was to make a database that I could reference in the future, and also to broaden my understanding of what was actually possible to put into a skill.

Anyway, here's the list itself. It's by no means completely accurate, or meant to be exhaustive. It also doesn't include any references to layouts, since those are a whole other ball of wax. I've split the list into two parts: one for things that appear to affect enemies, and one for friendly/beneficial effects. If there's already a similar list out there somewhere, I apologize for re-posting. At the very least it was very useful to me as a learning and reference tool. YMMV:
