Hi @Aherin

Before that I wanted to thank you for being willing to grant my request regarding Customize UI / HUD.

Previously I had asked to create a "Custom Diablo UI / HUD" but it seems that it can be postponed because it is better for now to focus on "CUSTOM_HUD" Mod first.

So I have 2 requests related to Customize UI / HUD.
- Custom Diablo UI / HUD
- CUSTOM_HUD

Note!

- Maybe in the future there will be additions

Updated To-Do List for “CUSTOM_HUD”

General

- Add the TEA + Showing secret rooms toggle function .
- Add the Respect toggle function.
- Adding Toggle Cosmetic to players. When Cosmetic Off: then the item shown is the item we are wearing not in the Cosmetic item slot. Like on this Image. From this Equipment Slots Overhaul EC Mod.
- Adding Inventory Upgrade & add More Share Stash & Personal Stash. Like on this Image

General

- Use Diablo UI / HUD as the theme. ✅
- Redesign the Button / Slot size for "Skill 1 and Weapon in Used" so that cool-down skill information can be seen. ✅
- Make Level Targets of enemy monsters get a change to "Lv. X”. ✅
- Need to adjust the Buff skill position. ✅
- Need to adjust the Charge Bar position in some Classes. ✅
- Fixing Bugs on XP & Fame that cannot be seen by using the "ALT" shortcut when the player level is 100. ✅
- Add Ubuntu Font & make adjustments in several places. ✅
- Change the appearance when choosing a class and starter pet to be like that in Variant Pet. Player: from 2x2 to 3x4, Pet: from 2x3 to 4x5. ✅
- Modify Camera Zoom levels like what is done with zoomy light mod. ✅

Map

- Add a Clear and Square Minimap. ✅
- Add a Phase Beast Finder. Show Phase Beast's location in your Map when detected. ✅
- Add a Fishing Add-On. Shows Fishing holes have an icon in the Map. ✅
- Adds beams of light to unique and legendary items also changes the beam of light of level items (such as chest keys etc) to purple. Combination of Unique Beams + D3 beams. Apply the beam that is in the D3 beams Mod and put it on the Unique Beams Mod. Somehow I prefer what you do with Unique Beams Mod and I think it can be upgraded with a beam that is on D3 beams Mod. ;D
- Add Block Indicator. Like this Block Indicator Mod. ✅

Pet

- Add HUD on % HP & MP Pet. Now you can see percentages. Like on this Image. From Torchlight II Essentials Mod or Equipment Slots Overhaul EC Mod. ✅
- Add HUD Adds custom pet Inventory. You can equip two rings and a necklace on your pet. Like on this Image. From Torchlight II Essentials Mod or Equipment Slots Overhaul EC Mod. ✅
- Add Extra slot on Pet Bag. ✅
- Move Pet Return Box Left Top. Like on this Image. From PetReturnBoxLeftTop Mod. ✅
- Return Pet Box already has an animation. ✅

- Add Brother-in-Arms: Warbounds with a few ideas that are on Brother-in-Arms (2017). Like fish pet that only exists at Brother-in-Arms (2017) [Image], It would be great if you also can use fish pet other than the one at the Brother-in-Arms (For example, pet fish from other mods such as Variant Pet), applying attribute skill points manually [Image], etc.

And there are some extras like, you can use a spell scroll like a Pet other than a special spell tag for Warbounds. Also add bag slots like pet (Bag armor, spels, gems) to Warbounds [Image].

Fix the position of the Tab Button Warbounds Ally.

The main goal is to make Pet Humanoids use Weapons & Armors like players without problems. As well as Beast Monster Pet can use Weapons & Armor even if only get the status of the weapon without any problems.

- Or you can apply a much lighter than implementing Brother-in-Arms Mod, maybe you can apply Pet Shop mod. Of course this also needs improvement and adjustment.

Add more 3 Pet, so you can have 4 pet. Fixing the rendering windows so that the pet can be seen on the menu like on the original pet menu instead of displaying a picture of the pet.

Make each extra Pet have its own Pet Tab Menu. I have an idea for this, in Pet the Main Pet menu tab can be given Previous & Next [◀️ & ▶️] button to the next pages pet menu tab.

I have an idea to overcome the problem we cannot have the same pet.

"Make Monster Eggs". Its function is, Players can have more than 1 Pet. This idea is a combination of Pet Shop Mod & Brother-in-Arms: Warbounds Mod.
  • Instead of getting extra pet when we buy fish from Pet Shop Mod Merchants, it would be great if we buy Monster Eggs. So on the Extra Pet menu screen you will see the Monster Egg. Because the Monster Egg hasn't been said to be a real Pet so he won't be seen hanging around like Pet.
  • The monster egg cannot be used like a pet, more precisely if you want to make it into a pet you have to give fish, only after that will it change to the pet you want (depending on the fish you give). That way you can get the same Pet. ;)

Some of your requests could be tricky as the evil ui mod and the diablo3 themed ui could draw on different parts of the same images. A bit of "frankensteining" them together might be necessary. Which mod do the desired enemy health bars come from?

As a base it's more to use the Diablo Complete Pack (v.1).
Evil UI Grittier Edition + Diablo 2 Orbs (v.6) is for more the "darker-looking orb color". :P


Which mod do the desired enemy health bars come from?
I think it's better to use that as in Better Vanilla, because it shows more complete information.

Note:
- "Weakness & Damage Type" I hope it can show the right information. :)
- And for "Current Health" can you also add% form. So in addition to showing the number of Enemy HP in the normal form it also shows in the form%. Maybe it can be placed in the "Target Level" section.
- And for "Enemy Level" information it can be placed in front along with the name Monster. Example: [Lv.1 Rattling]
- Don't forget the information about the buff status that the enemy receives.

Hmm right ok :) It's going to take me longer to do all that than what you originally asked for of course. If you still just want a mouse/kboard version of my custom hud I can send that to you. That one didn't take long to make.

I have a bit of an issue with the diablo3 ui to be honest. I know that it was said that it's a recreation rather than a straight copy but it just looks so similar that I can't help but feel that it's been ripped straight from d3. Not sure how I feel about that  :-\

@Aherin : Download G'mic or another filter program and use Paint.net / Krita or something similar and Filter and Switch the Colors and Shape out of the image files until it doesn't look like a Rip from D3 anymore...  :D

That's how I was able to make the Far East Pack Plus main mod image all pretty, different and readable.
At this point after playing Torchlight 2 for 4 years original and modded... ignorant of mods and now wise with compatibility... the one thing I value the most-

-is being able to have "support" from the author of any mod.

I think the only advice I can give is that you don't burn yourself out. ^_^

@Aherin Congrats! Your ability to make fonts stand out against a background mod image is wonderful and I look forward to your progress with colors now!
(Hint: Try the "Gradient Map Tool" and customize them as it saves lots of work and produces quick results)  :)

@Aherin : That's awesome! It's how you were also able to take screenshots for character profile images like the Summon Replacement mod?  :)
... Maybe the Destroyer's face could be placed onto a big hammer via screenshot... imagine poor Ratlin's looking at that before getting slammed around.  :D

EDIT: Even better. Make a mod where some helmets have been modded with famous faces from the game... Face Cosplay Mod!  ???

Nah I only thought of that for the last 2 mods. All the others was just cloning the text and making it black, then moving it down and to the right to make a shadow. Pretty simple but it did the trick :)

After I tried it. I just realized that I couldn't exchange the second skill that I could usually can give it and exchange it by pressing the "Tab" keyboard button.

And also I can't set the Left Mouse Button.
